I'm a 30something ginger bird who lives in Oxfordshire, UK. I love a nice sit down, and can usually be found watching telly, reading a book and listening to the radio all at the same time. In order to pay the rent and buy alcoholic beverages, I'm a geography!geek for the local council and occasionally a teacher too.

I fell hook, line and sinker in love with James May on 11th May 2003, and I've fangirled him quite a lot since then. I like to write fanfiction, usually slashy and usually under the influence of vin blanc - you can find all of my writing on topgearslash. You can also find me on Facebook and as a mod on Hammond Heaven (but please don't hold that against me!)

I'm also rather fond of Jezza, Stephen Fry and the lovely Dr Alice Roberts - you sense a theme of posh totty here, I hope? I also like festivals (I WILL bang on about Glasto for most of the summer), BBC 6music, QI, The Hairy Bikers, Macintosh computers, buying books, quizzes, flowers, talking about the weather, British local history, and learning new stuff.

I dislike commercial radio, bad spelling, chavs, bigotry, liars and cheats, peanuts and Piers 'Morgan' Moron.



Please note that due to some fairly massive breaches of trust recently, when the contents of a trusted filter in the locked journal were passed to people outside my flist, I'm now fairly picky about who I add as a friend. That's not to say I don't welcome new friends - on the contrary, people are welcome to add me, but unless I know you from topgearslash or another forum, or if you have an empty journal, please get in contact first - there's an open entry you can comment on, thanks.
